Rehabilitation services promote client well being through personalized care plans targeted to better clients physical, communication and cognitive abilities.
Physiotherapy
Clients recovering from injuries, managing a chronic condition, or dealing with age-related limitations benefit from physiotherapy to maintain mobility, strength, and function. Registered Physiotherapists design targeted treatments to assist in pain management and enhancing overall physical wellness. Our Physiotherapists can also assist with mobility aids, sharing expert advice and recommendations while assisting with applications for Government funded programs. Our team of physiotherapists include Assistive Devices Program Authorizers.
Occupational Therapy
Our Registered Occupational Therapists (OTs) will provide support through the conducting of a home safety assessment, assess for assistive devices and home equipment to improve functional abilities. OTs will provide fall prevention and safety strategies and assist with promoting optimal functioning through education. They provide adaptive strategies and skill development, to help clients overcome barriers and achieve greater independence and satisfaction in their lives.
Speech therapy
Registered Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) at RNS provide comprehensive assessments and customized treatment plans to meet the needs of the client. Our team will work with our clients to prevent further progression of communication and speech delays and disorders, improve speech, assist with swallowing disorders, and so much more.
Social work
The Social Work team at RNS collaborates with our clients and their families to address challenges through education, assessment, diagnosis and assistance with various funding applications.
The therapists are knowledgeable, patient, and tailored the sessions to meet individual needs. We've seen real improvement and are very happy with the care and support provided.
